This image does not have a whole lot of tones and colors in it, in fact most of it is grey color but the shadows that do exist in the photo stand out and create just enough dimension that most all of the objects can be clearly defined. The only time this is not true is when the objects get close to the light source, and the outlines become a bit hazy and things blend together. It is also in that space that there are smaller and fewer shadows that find their place on the object. In the freground of the image, the objects have more dimension, definition and tone establishing what the object is and how it exists in its space. I personally like the objects in the foregound better because there is more shadow, tone and texture to each object making them more interesting to look at.
