While this picture doesn't have a whole lot of shadows, the light and color that make up the image certainly makes up for the lack there of. The person and room/doorway they are sitting in is so dark and present that the white light in the background almost comes as a surprise, especially with the hint of grey that allows the figure to stand out and be defined even more. The white framing the doorway is very intriguing to me, I want to look at it and figure out where and why it is coming through because it provides so much of a contrast and definition that my eye can't help but be drawn to it.
