In The Classroom

Sitting in a classroom today I contemplated how hard it would be to have a stage appear to be lit by fluorescent lights. To use actual fluorescent lights would be impossible, because there wouldn't be enough light on stage- everything would look flat. There isn't enough diversity in lights and the actors, set, and costumes, would look flat. Not to mention that using actual fluorescent lights would be very difficult to wire and hang over a stage.
